How to add your personal video
Add a personal message, favourite memory or greeting video to the inside-left page of a Premium card. It is optional: you can choose an Artmoop animation instead, or leave both empty for a static card.
Paste a video sharing link, not HTML or iframe code. Your video stays with its hosting provider. You control its sharing settings and must keep it available for your recipient.
Google Drive
- Upload your own video to Google Drive. Wait until it has finished processing and plays successfully.
- Open Share. Under General access, choose Anyone with the link, then Viewer.
- Choose Copy link. In the Artmoop designer, select Premium and expand Your personal video.
- Paste the link, choose Use this video link, and test the preview.
Work or school accounts may prevent public sharing. Google Drive may require third-party cookies or restrict playback for viewers who are not signed in. The card includes an Open in Google Drive link if embedded playback does not work.
Privacy: Anyone who obtains your shared video link may be able to view it. The private greeting-card link does not make the Google Drive file private to one recipient.

YouTube
- Open the video on YouTube and choose Share → Copy link. Ordinary watch links, short links and Shorts links are supported.
- For your own recording, choose sharing settings that let your recipient watch it and make sure embedding is allowed. A private or age-restricted video may not play in the card.
- Paste the link in Your personal video, choose Use this video link, and test the preview.
YouTube controls its branding, adverts, recommendations and availability. Privacy-enhanced embedding is used, but that does not promise advert-free playback. Playlist-only and channel links are not supported.
Vimeo
- Open the video on Vimeo and copy its video sharing link.
- Make sure the video permits your recipient to watch and can be embedded on this website.
- For an unlisted video, copy the whole link, including its privacy code. Do not shorten it to just the video number.
- Paste the link, choose Use this video link, and test the preview.
Private videos may be visible only to the owner's Vimeo team. Unlisted and other privacy options depend on the owner's Vimeo plan. Some videos may require a password or have domain restrictions.
Before sending your card
- Use a video you are entitled to share, and check that the intended recipient can access it.
- Test the original sharing link while signed out, then test the Artmoop preview. Recognising a link format cannot prove that a video is accessible.
- Choose Watch personal video to load the external player, then use its Play control. The video may contain sound. Card music pauses when the player is loaded.
- On small screens, the player opens in a larger accessible view so controls are usable. Close that view to return to the card.
- Closing the card or preview stops its embedded player. If playback fails, use the provider link.
- Do not delete the video or change its permissions if you want the card to keep working. Provider restrictions, connection problems or browser settings can affect playback.
- Switching to Free excludes personal videos and Artmoop Premium animations. Your personalised writing and existing editing tools remain available.
Personal video links are Premium-only. No video is required to personalise or send a card.
