Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of artmoop.com and purchases of Artmoop personalised digital greeting cards and related digital services.
Last updated: 2 September 2026
1. About these terms
By using Artmoop or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them before purchasing. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
2. The Artmoop service
Artmoop provides digital greeting-card designs and personalisation tools that allow customers to create and send personalised digital greetings. The exact features available for a card may include text personalisation, digital delivery, a private card link, animation, celebration effects or other features shown on the relevant product or editor page.
3. Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Creating and personalising a card
You are responsible for checking the selected design, recipient details, spelling, personalisation, message and other choices before you confirm an order or delivery. The preview and editor are provided to help you check your card. Minor differences caused by browsers, devices, fonts, screen sizes or software rendering do not necessarily mean the digital product is faulty.
5. Content you add
You retain responsibility for text, names, images or other material you submit to Artmoop. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that material. You must not use Artmoop to create, upload or send content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, malicious, obscene, discriminatory, infringing, privacy-invasive, or that contains malware or attempts to misuse the service.
You give Artmoop a limited permission to host, process, reproduce and transmit your submitted material only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure and support the service you requested.
6. Recipient information
If you provide another person's name, email address or other delivery details, you confirm that you are providing them for the legitimate purpose of sending the greeting and that you are entitled to do so. Please check recipient details carefully. We are not responsible for a failed or misdirected delivery caused by incorrect information supplied by you.
7. Prices
The price payable is the price displayed for the product or service when you place the order, subject to correction of an obvious pricing error. Any applicable taxes or additional charges will be shown where required before payment. We may change prices for future purchases at any time.
8. Payment
Paid orders are subject to successful payment authorisation. Payments may be processed by an independent payment provider and may also be subject to that provider's terms. We may refuse or cancel a transaction where payment fails, appears unauthorised or fraudulent, or where we reasonably need to protect the service or another person.
9. Digital delivery
Digital cards are delivered using the method offered during the ordering process. Delivery can depend on the accuracy of the information you provide and on third-party networks, email providers, messaging services, spam filters, the recipient's device and internet availability. A message being accepted for transmission does not guarantee that a third-party provider will place it in the recipient's inbox.
If a card has not arrived, check the recipient details and relevant spam or junk folders and contact us so we can investigate where reasonably possible.
10. When digital supply begins
Some Artmoop products are supplied or made available digitally shortly after purchase or when you instruct us to send or create the final card. Where consumer law requires your express consent for digital supply to begin during a statutory cancellation period, and acknowledgement that beginning supply may affect or end a cancellation right, we will request that consent and acknowledgement before beginning the relevant supply.
11. Cancellations, refunds and faulty digital content
Your statutory rights are not affected. Because Artmoop supplies personalised and/or digital content, cancellation rights can depend on the type of product and whether digital performance has begun with any consent and acknowledgement required by law.
If digital content is faulty, not as described or does not work as it reasonably should, please contact us. Where applicable consumer law gives you a right to a repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or other remedy, we will honour that right. We may ask for information reasonably needed to identify the order and investigate the problem.
We do not normally provide a refund merely because a customer changes their mind after a correctly supplied personalised digital card has been created, accessed or sent where the law does not require such a refund. This does not limit any statutory right you may have.
12. Credits, promotions and promotional value
If Artmoop offers account credits, promotional credits, discounts or bonuses, any additional conditions displayed when they are issued form part of these terms. Promotional value may have an expiry date or eligibility restrictions where clearly stated. Purchased value will be treated in accordance with the conditions shown at purchase and applicable law. We may correct credits added through error, fraud or abuse.
13. Private card links
A card link may be intended for a particular recipient, but anyone who obtains the link may potentially be able to access it unless an additional access control is provided. Customers and recipients should therefore avoid publishing or forwarding private card links unless they intend others to see the card.
14. Intellectual property
Except for material supplied by users or otherwise identified, the Artmoop website, software, branding, layouts, card designs, artwork, graphics and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Artmoop and are protected by intellectual-property law. Purchasing or receiving a card gives you the personal right to use the supplied card for its intended greeting purpose; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork, software or brand.
You may not reproduce, scrape, resell, redistribute, commercially exploit, reverse engineer or create a competing library from Artmoop content or software except where the law expressly permits it.
15. Acceptable use and service protection
You must not interfere with the website, bypass security or access controls, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, automate excessive requests, harvest data, distribute malware, impersonate another person, or use the service for spam or unlawful communications. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users, comply with law or maintain security.
16. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Artmoop available and reliable, but continuous or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, faults, security incidents and third-party outages may occasionally interrupt the service. We may update, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. This does not remove any rights relating to digital content you have already purchased.
17. Our responsibility
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, Artmoop is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses arising from consumer use of the service.
We are not responsible for failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect remedies that applicable consumer law gives you.
18. Third-party services and links
Artmoop may rely on or link to independent services such as payment processors, hosting providers, email or messaging systems. We are not responsible for independent websites or services that we do not control, although we remain responsible for our own obligations to you.
19. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy. Please read it alongside these terms.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future use of the service to reflect changes to Artmoop, technology, security or law. The current version and its update date will be published on this page. The terms applicable to a completed purchase will not be retrospectively changed in a way that removes mandatory rights relating to that purchase.
21. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
22. Contact
If you have a question, complaint, delivery problem or refund request, please use our Contact page and include enough information for us to identify the relevant order where applicable.
